Grilled Salmon Tacos with Avocado Crema

These Grilled Salmon Tacos are fresh, zesty, and creamy — the smoky salmon pairs perfectly with the tangy avocado crema. 🌮🐟🥑
INGREDIENTS
For the Salmon:
- 500g salmon fillet, skin removed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Juice of 1 lime
For the Avocado Crema:
- 1 ripe avocado
- ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 small garlic clove
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh cilantro (optional)
For Serving:
- 8 small tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage or lettuce
- ½ cup diced tomatoes
- ¼ cup chopped red onion
- Fresh cilantro and lime wedges, for garnish
PREPARATION

Prepare the Salmon:
In a bowl, mix olive oil, chili powder, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and lime juice.
Rub the mixture onto the salmon fillet and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes. -
Grill the Salmon:
Preheat your grill or pan to medium-high heat.
Cook the salmon for about 3–4 minutes per side, or until it flakes easily.
Remove from heat and break into chunks. -
Make the Avocado Crema:
In a blender or food processor, combine avocado, sour cream (or Greek yogurt), lime juice, garlic, salt, and cilantro.
Blend until smooth and creamy. -
Assemble the Tacos:
Warm the tortillas.
Add a layer of shredded cabbage, top with grilled salmon, spoon over avocado crema, and garnish with tomatoes, onions, and cilantro.
Serve with lime wedges on the side.
